The Delhi-boy who made it big in Bollywood, Sidharth Malhotra still feels it’s too early to compare him with the industry biggies.

Sidharth’s latest release ,Ek Villain, has fared well at the box office and is currently the talk of the town. But what helped this ‘Student Of The Year’ play a character with grey shades in the film? The actor reportedly has credited none other than actor Shah Rukh Khan for it.

According to a report, Sidharth revealed how he watched SRK’s ‘Baazigar’, ‘Anjam’ and ‘Darr’ multiple times to get hold of his character in ‘Ek Villain’. The 29-year-old actor feels that it is Shah Rukh who inspired him to play a dark role at the initial stage of his career.

The report also suggests that the ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ actor has dedicated his performance as a form of tribute to the king of romance. Sidharth is seen playing a brooding gangster in ‘Ek Villain’, and has received rave reviews from his peers in the industry.

‘Ek Villain’ witnessed a worldwide release on June 27, 2014.
