Preity Molestation Case: No charges dropped against Ness Wadia

Mumbai: In the latest development in the Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia tiff, the Mumbai Police after recording the actress’ statement on Tuesday said that no charges have been dropped against Ness Wadia, nor has any other charge been added.

Preity mentioned two new places at Wankhede stadium where her alleged spat with Ness Wadia had taken place. The actress identified three places where she was allegedly abused – below the AC box, near the railing of the pavilion and the ground. Police said that they will have to examine the CCTV footage once again.

Preity said that Ness’ friends were also there when she was misbehaved with. She also told the police that an Australian national who is a relative of a team member got up and asked Ness to keep quiet when the latter was abusing. The actress also named two team staff members, as witnesses to the incident.

Meanwhile Ness Wadia’s lawyer has informed the police that Ness is ready to be questioned. Preity claims that Ness Wadia abused and threatened her during an IPL match at Wankhede on May 30.
