After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Kareena Kapoor, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif may be next to get a wax statue at Madam Tussauds.
It is reported that the Bang Bang actress has been invited by the museum authorities for a wax statue at the London centre.
The museum, which showcases the fame and glory of historical characters, iconic legends and superheroes, have apparently sent a letter to Katrina Kaif expressing their interest to install her statue.
We hear that the actress received the letter last weekend and was enthralled to have been bestowed with this honour. In fact, she is also in talks with the authorities of Madame Tussauds. However, a decision will be made only by next week.
Currently, there is a poll being conducted on the official site of Madame Tussauds London where Katrina Kaif is pitted against her contemporaries Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.
Other Bollywood biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, too, have achieved this in the male category.
Now, the Bang Bang girl too is going to be part of the renowned wax museum and will be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Shehanshah Amitabh Bachchan as well as Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The museum is planning to unveil the statute of Katrina Kaif at its London unit. Perhaps, this has been decided keeping in mind that Katrina Kaif is basically a British citizen, with her family settled in that part of the world.
If the decision is in Katrina’s favour, then the actress too will be invited to unveil the statue. As far as the look for the sculpture is concerned, they are considering her saree clad look of Raajneeti, her peppy casual look in Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, her sexy avatar in ‘Chikni Chameli’ (Agneepath, 2012) and ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ (Tees Maar Khan) among others.
While Amitabh Bachchan was the first celebrity to have received this honour of a wax statue at Madame Tussauds, it was Madhuri Dixit who unveiled her wax statue recently.
We are sure Katrina’s fans will be thrilled to see wax statute of Katrina in Madam Tussauds.
