MUMBAI: Bollywood biggies like Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Tiger Shroff, Mannara, Randeep Hooda, Poonam Dhillion, Varun Dhawan, Lisa Haydon, Farah Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker were in full attendance last night at 21st Lions GOLDAwards in Mumbai.
Tiger Shroff who won hearts with his ‘Heropanti’ performance last year, took away the Best Debut Award at the event. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra’s sister Mannara too take away the Best Debutant trophy for ‘Zid’.
Priyanka took to microblogging website Twitter to congratulate her sister on her first debut award. “Cngrts @memannara 4 ur 1st debut award!So proud of u.Of all my fab sisters.@ParineetiChopra @MeerraChopra #ChopraClan”, wrote Pee Cee.
Priyanka Chopra too won the best actress award at the ceremony while her ‘Mary Kom’ director Omung Kumar walked away with the Best Debut Director Award.
TV actress Divyanka Tripathi who has won accolades for her performance in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was honoured with Best Actress Award on small screen at the event. Divyanka’s role as a mother, daughter, wife, sister and friend on the show has become one of the most popular roles in telly world today and her chemistry with her co-star Karan Patel, who plays her husband, Raman, is also a popular actor across the nation.
On the other hand Gautam Rode, won the Best Actor Award for his impeccable performance in a Star Plus show titled ‘Saraswatichandra’. His role of a perfect husband is hugely loved by fans all over while his chemistry with his co-star Jennifer Winget too has won hearts across the world.
Daisy Shah walked the ramp for designer and former Bigg Boss inmate Rohit Verma at the show. They pose alongside Poonam Dhillon at the function.
